Ken Corbin interned with Narramore Bain Brady Johanson (NBBJ) in Seattle before he was drafted into the Army where he subsequently served in Vietnam. Upon release from the services, he completed his internship with architect Tom Rogers, then joined the firm as a partner until 1986. The current firm was incorporated as a professional corporation in 1986 (Rogers and Corbin, Inc.) and amended to Corbin Associates Inc. in 1993. Ken is a former member of the City of Enid Construction Board of Adjustment and Appeals and has also served on the Main Street Enid Board of Directors.
JOHN MERZ, AIA PRINCIPAL
John Merz began his internship with Elliott+ Associates in Oklahoma City and joined Corbin Associates in 1993, earning his license in 1995. In 2010, John was added as an officer-stockholder and the corporation was amended to Corbin & Merz Architects Inc., PC. John is currently on the City of Enid Construction Board of Adjustment and Appeals, the Zoning Board of Adjustment, and is a former member of the Metropolitan Area Planning Committee, Historic Preservation Board, and Main Street Enid Board of Directors.
ERIN HANEY, IIDA INTERIOR DESIGNER
Erin Haney is a licensed Interior Designer in the State of Oklahoma and a 2007 Oklahoma State University graduate with a degree in Interior Design. She previously was employed by HKS Architects in Dallas where she worked on design and coordination of spaces for the Dallas Cowboys Stadium. She later transferred to Las Vegas to work on the Aria Tower in City Center before joining Corbin & Merz in 2011. She is also a talented professional photographer.
KATHERINE CORBIN BUSINESS MANAGER
Katherine Corbin provides administrative support services for the firm. Also an Oklahoma State University graduate, Katherine majored in Interior Design before graduating as an English major and working as a language arts and speech teacher. She later worked as a volunteer literacy tutor and grant writer. She joined Corbin Associates full-time in 1993.
